BIO
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, one of the most segregated cities in America, Angel writes with purpose. An early author of Wattpad’s Stars Program, she collaborated on brand campaigns, series launches, and holiday promotions. Now based in Atlanta, she creates drama and horror that elevate the voices of women and people of color, using genre as both entertainment and a tool for healing.
Angel is a graduate of Marquette University, where she earned dual degrees in English Literature and African American Studies. This foundation in craft and cultural history informs her storytelling, enabling her to merge rich thematic depth with cinematic vision.
Her work has earned 47 screenwriting awards and festival placements, including recognition from the Oscar-qualifying Atlanta and Austin Film Festivals. She is a 2023 Stowe Story Labs Feature Campus alum and one of ten writers honored on The Black List’s inaugural Georgia List. Angel’s projects have also ranked on the Coverfly Red List (Top 4% discoverable projects, legacy platform), further cementing her status as a distinctive, industry-recognized storyteller.
In her spare time, she enjoys singing and writing her own songs, adding another layer of rhythm and emotion to her creative life.
