BIO
Fascinated with human nature and people's motivations, Angel's stories thrive in the in-between gray spaces of life. The grieving father that throws his deceased daughter a birthday party, the accountant major that would rather bake for a living, the thief that goes legit by executing a stolen business plan. People never do what they're supposed to, and her stories play with that irony.
She's a BIPOC writer whose work champions the perspective and experiences of those that are marginalized. She is 2023 Stowe Story Feature Lab fellow and a Coverfly Red Lister. Her screenplays have earned her coveted opportunities to pitch to executives from HBO, NBC Universal and Paramount to name a few. She has placed in over 25 film festivals and screenwriting competitions including Oscar-qualifying Atlanta Film Festival, Screencraft, and Cinequest.
